Amigos de Guatemala focuses on providing financial support and opportunities for all young people in Latin America to receive and complete their primary and high school education, as well as providing access to good medical care. Our goal is to provide a solid foundation, through education and health care, to these young people so they can pursue and engage in meaningful work in diverse societies.
Education
Literacy among the rural poor of Guatemala is among the lowest in the Western Hemisphere. Our goal is to break this poverty cycle.
